Van Winkle Mattress Company, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, was in need of a new logo and design for their delivery truck. The previous logo hadn’t been updated since it’s creation in 2005, so there wasn’t even a vectorized version of the logo. The company wanted to update the look of the branding, while still maintaining the whimsical, story-like feel as the name is based on the story of Rip Van Winkle, a man who falls asleep for 20 years.
